This project hopes to mobilize immigrants to get politically involved and gain further understanding of their legal rights. Immigrant voter turnout has historically been lower than the general electorate. This discrepancy is only going to increase due to the polarization around immigrants leading to fear of political involvement.
Our group advocates for increased education on immigrants’ rights to prevent abuse of power and increase involvement for citizens and non-citizens alike.
